We’re Luca and Matteo, the brains and hearts behind Pietralago, and we’re thrilled that you’re curious about how this whole dream came to life!
Back in 2020, when the world decided to shake things up, we found ourselves feeling a bit squeezed. After years of the hectic Milan lifestyle, we knew it was time for a big change—something more authentic and meaningful. But what exactly? Who knew?

One evening, as we enjoyed dinner by the stunning Lake Como, we started dreaming about swapping city life for this magical spot.

And just like that, our adventure began. By a stroke of luck—or maybe some cosmic help—we stumbled upon Blevio. It felt like the universe knew exactly what we needed. The house was perfectly nestled between Lake Como and the majestic mountains. As soon as we walked in, we had one of those “Wow!” moments. This place was definitely meant for us.

Our renovation journey began here and has kept us on our toes for two years and counting… we poured our hearts into every detail, selecting materials, designing furniture, and hunting for antiques. Each room tells its own story, with some pieces coming from our grandmothers, inspiring us to name the rooms after them: a tribute to Agape and Lucia, who taught us to chase our dreams.

Pietralago has become our peaceful retreat, but it wasn’t perfect until we could share it with others. So, we decided to open part of our little gem to amazing guests who want to soak up the magic.
